Disconnect to Reconnect
august 28-30 | Lilliwaup, washington
In a world of endless notifications and digital noise, when did we stop truly seeing each other? Our ‘Disconnect to Reconnect’ retreat near the stunning Lena Lake is about remembering what it feels like to be human together.
Step away from the screens and into something real.
Picture yourself…
Journaling near a lake summit, enjoying a sound bath in a meadow by a bubbling river, closing and starting your day with gentle movement and intentionality, taking a bioluminescent kayak adventure…all while staying in the coziest glamping village surrounded by PNW beauty, a mere 1.5 hours away from Bainbridge Island.
Sometimes the most radical thing you can do is simply be present. Be ready to unplug, tune into what really matters, and connect with an amazing community.
The Shape of the Weekend
Arrive Friday around 4pm. Settle in. See the water. We'll share a welcome dinner together and close the night with a sound bath in the riverside meadow.
Saturday is our signature “Day Treat” experience! The day is set out to explore some major highlights of the Hood Canal area. We will start with some gentle yoga in the morning followed by a campsite breakfast. Then we will meet at the trailhead of Lena Lake! After an approximately 2 hour hike to the summit we will pause for a light lunch and meditation moment while we enjoy the views.
After we descend, we will have a post hike break at Hama Hama Oyster Saloon. This is a very popular destination for this area (and of course there are non seafood options). We have some time back at camp to take a stretch break and spend some time by the resort dock and then end the night with a bioluminescent kayak activity guided by Hood Canal Adventures.
Sunday is slow. Light movement, light breakfast, pack up by 10am. Those who want to gather one more time meet for breakfast in Quilcene on the way home.
Two nights glamping at Mike's Beach Resort — each tent includes a bed, firepit, mini fridge, coffee maker, and private space

About your Hosts
Shayla & Arissan met teaching through Socha Yoga at The Atrium Club and felt an instant connection.
They both care deeply about building community and creating supportive classes and spaces where people can bring their full selves and feel deeply held; whether that's physically or mentally. They want each individual to tap into their authentic power and feel grounded while doing so.
Bringing a breadth of experience as teachers and facilitators, they created Day Treats to bring people into magical experience that changes how we show up for ourselves and each other.
